Carsten Walter, Senior Director of Development and John von Kannon Fellow in Philanthropy, Heritage Foundation
Carsten has worked in Heritage's development office since 1988, serving in a number of different roles overseeing the growth of Heritage's membership. Today he oversees Heritage's Legacy Society program, data management, mentoring staff, and providing strategic advice and insight. Carsten earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Rochester in 1986 and an MBA in marketing from George Washington University in 1995. Carsten lives in Gaithersburg, Md., with his wife, Abigail, and their two sons when they come home from college.

Roxana Laing, Assistant Director of Heritage Legacy Society
Roxana is originally from New York's Hudson Valley and is a graduate of the University of Connecticut. She joined Heritage in 1993 and brings a wealth of experience to the area of planned giving thanks to more than 27 years of assisting Heritage members with their legacy planning. Roxana currently resides in Kensington, Maryland with her husband Mike and their two young daughters.

Lori McNicoll, Senior Associate, Heritage Legacy Society
Lori is from the Seattle area and graduated from the University of Washington. She moved to Washington, D.C. and joined The Heritage Foundation development team in 2001. As Senior Coordinator, Lori enjoys helping Members interested in learning more about gift planning opportunities and the benefits of joining the Heritage Legacy Society. Lori and her husband, Brian, and their son and a daughter currently live in Reston, VA.
